WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

 

If you have insurance through your employer, suggest that freedom of choice (at the same price) be allowed in their benefit plan. It will actually save the employer money in the long run because folks will gravitate to the better providers. 

 

Vote for politicians that support the things we outlined earlier. Just a few changes in laws can help a lot.

 

Until then, support your provider that gives you the best service even if your copay is a little higher. That will help change the system and improve quality at the same time.
